Toxco Inc., North America’s leading battery recycling company has announced a name change to Retriev Technologies Inc.
“While Toxco is a globally recognized name in the battery recycling industry, we do not feel the name reflects where we as a company want to go in the 21st century” says Toxco’s President Steven Kinsbursky. “The name Retriev Technologies exemplifies a better description of what our company represents in the marketplace.”
Retriev Technologies has facilities in British Columbia, Ohio, and has a research and development laboratory in Pennsylvania that operates under the DBA of LithChem Energy.
Headquartered in Anaheim, CA, Retriev Technologies specializes in the recovery and recycling of multiple battery chemistries and is currently completing an expansion with the construction of a 20 million dollar, 66,000 square foot, state of the art advanced battery recycling facility in Lancaster, Ohio.
The new recycling operation, which is being constructed next to Retriev’s existing 180,000 square foot battery recycling facility, will be dedicated to recycling large format lithium-ion and nickel-metal hydride batteries used in hybrid and electric vehicles.Tags: Name Change, Retriev Technologies, Toxco
